AALO, Jun 24:  Sports & Youth Affairs, Legislative Affairs & SJETA Minister Kento Jini, who along with West Siang Deputy Commissioner Mindo Loyi inspected the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Centre at Kabu (Rokken), has called for its hassle-free and uninterrupted operation.

The garbage management system of Aalo township has been facing several challenges for many years. Under the initiative and intervention of Minister Jini, the MRF Centre has been made operational for proper waste management. The dry waste generated from Aalo township is being transported through Patum Bridge and Pessing area under Jomlo circle of Siang district. The dry waste is properly managed, processed, with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prescribed by the UD Department being strictly followed.

He also directed the Power Department, Aalo to ensure an adequate power supply to the MRF Centre for uninterrupted operation.
