ITANAGAR, Jun 25: As part of the Khet Bachao Abhiyan (KBA), Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), East Kameng conducted an agricultural awareness programme on natural farming at Rilloh village on Thursday.
During the programme, experts Dr W Purnima Devi, A Pandey, and Dr C Nikpo discussed soil health management, land conservation, and climate-resilient practices based on the principles of natural farming.
The team also educated farmers on government welfare schemes—including PM-KISAN, KCC, Soil Health Card, and PMFBY—encouraging them to adopt scientific farming for long-term productivity and livelihood security.
A total of 22 local farmers took part in the programme and interacted with the expert team of KVK.
