Guv felicitates Air Commodore RD Mosabi for service to ex-servicemen community

Itanagar, Jun 30: Air Commodore (Retd) RD Mosabi, Director-cum-Secretary of the Rajya Sainik Board, called on State Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik at Lok Bhavan here on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the Governor and Air Commodore Mosabi discussed various welfare initiatives being implemented by the Rajya Sainik Board for the benefit of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, war veterans and their families across the State.

Air Commodore Mosabi, who is relinquishing his responsibilities as Director-cum-Secretary of the Board, briefed the Governor on its activities and highlighted challenges faced in delivering welfare services to veterans and their dependents, particularly in the remote and geographically challenging areas of Arunachal Pradesh. He also shared his experiences and insights gained during his tenure while serving the ex-servicemen fraternity of the state.

The Governor commended Air Commodore Mosabi for his dedicated and selfless service, acknowledging his efforts to strengthen welfare outreach and address the concerns of veterans and their families with commitment and compassion.

As a mark of appreciation for his exemplary service, the Governor presented Air Commodore Mosabi with the prestigious ‘Land of the Rising Sun’ Medallion for Excellence and wished him good health, happiness and success in his future endeavours.

The meeting underscored the state's continued commitment to the welfare of ex-servicemen, war veterans and their families, while acknowledging the important role played by the Rajya Sainik Board in addressing their needs and concerns.
