ITANAGAR, Jul 2: A team of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Arunachal Pradesh visited the flood-ravaged NEEPCO Colony in Keyi Panyor district to provide immediate relief and support to the affected families.
Upholding the guiding principle of Seva Parmo Dharma (Service is the Highest Duty), ABVP karyakartas conducted an on-ground assessment of the situation in coordination with local administration. To assist in the recovery efforts, the organization provided tangible support.
On this count, a total of Rs 95,540, raised through statewide donation drives led by ABVP units across various districts of the State, was handed over to support the needs of the affected families.
The ABVP-AP team also distributed 20 cases of packaged drinking water to ensure residents have access to clean and safe hydration.
Moreover, the ABVP karyakartas, beyond logistical aid, got engaged in physical relief efforts, working shoulder-to-shoulder with local volunteers to assist residents.
“ABVP Arunachal Pradesh remains steadfast in its commitment to stand with the student community and society at large during every crisis,” stated the Organization.
