Army organises youth empowerment prog under Project NAVBHARAT at Likabali

Likabali, Jul 4: The Indian Army's Spearhead Division, under the aegis of Spear Corps, organised a youth empowerment programme under Project NAVBHARAT at Likabali on Saturday, aimed at fostering patriotism, national integration, and civic responsibility among students.

A total of 181 participants, including 167 students and 14 teachers from Jogesh Gohain High School, Dhemaji, took part in the programme. The initiative featured motivational lectures and informative documentaries highlighting the courage, rigorous training, and sacrifices of Indian Army personnel. Students were encouraged to contribute positively towards community development and nation-building.

A major attraction of the programme was a guided visit to the Likabali Military Station, where participants gained first-hand insight into the Army's operational preparedness and disciplined way of life. They were also briefed on the Army's role in safeguarding the nation's borders and witnessed a static display of modern weapons, military equipment, and tactical systems.

The Indian Army said the programme was organised to strengthen civil-military relations while inspiring the younger generation to embrace values such as patriotism, discipline, and social responsibility.

Project NAVBHARAT concluded on a positive note, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of the Armed Forces and motivating them to contribute meaningfully to the nation's development.
