ITANAGAR, Jul 6: Chief Minister Pema Khandu reviewed the flood situation in Lower Siang, Leparada and other central districts with a delegation of the Galo Welfare Society (GWS) here on Monday.
The review meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker Kardo Nyigyor, and MLAs Nyabi Jini Dirchi and Tojir Kadu.
During the meeting, Khandu stressed the need to accelerate relief operations and strengthen restoration efforts in flood-affected areas.
"Relief must move faster, restoration must begin stronger, and every affected family must receive the support they deserve," the Chief Minister said in a social media post.
He reiterated the state government's commitment to ensuring timely assistance and rehabilitation for people affected by the recent floods.
