Former AAPSU leaders join BJP

ITANAGAR, Jul 6: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Arunachal Pradesh, received a boost on Monday with the induction of several youth leaders, including former All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) president Tana Dozi Tara, former general secretary Ritum Tali and former finance secretary  Suraj Tayem.

The induction programme held at the BJP state headquarters in Itanagar was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, BJP State president Kaling Moyong, Agriculture Minister Gabriel D Wangsu, Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak and other senior party leaders.

Welcoming the new members, Mein urged them to understand the party's ideology and serve the nation with dedication. He said joining a political party carries greater responsibility to work for both the state and the country.

Moyong called upon the new entrants to strengthen the party from the booth level and reiterated the BJP's guiding principle of "Nation First, Party Second, Self Last."

Several youth leaders from across the state also joined the party during the programme.
