The District Administration, in coordination with the District Disaster Management Office (DDMO), is closely monitoring the flood, landslide and river level situation and has directed all concerned departments to remain on alert.
Residents have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall, stay away from rivers and water bodies, refrain from fishing and other recreational activities, avoid unauthorised earth cutting and immediately report incidents of flooding, erosion or landslides to the DDMO.
