Daporijo, Jul 15: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Upper Subansiri, on Wednesday began its phased relocation to the new Secretariat building, with the Deputy Commissioner and other officers shifting to the new premises.
The district administration said the transfer of branches, establishment sections and office records is underway and will continue over the coming days. Other district offices and government departments will also be relocated in phases.
The new Secretariat building has been developed to provide improved infrastructure and facilitate better coordination among departments. The administration has appealed to the public for cooperation during the transition, stating that the new complex will serve as a centralised administrative hub for efficient and accessible public service delivery.
