SILUK, Jul 27: In a significant development for healthcare services in Arunachal Pradesh, the Ayushman Arogya Mandir–Sub Health Centre (AAM-SHC), Siluk in East Siang district has been bestowed the prestigious National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) Quality Certification by the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The health facility secured an impressive 94 percent overall score in the national-level external assessment, successfully meeting all certification criteria across the seven mandatory service packages and earning the status of ‘Quality Certified’, according to NHSRC sources.
The external assessment was conducted on March 28, 2026, followed by a revalidation on June 24, 2026. The certification was officially conveyed by the NHSRC through a letter dated July 8, 2026, addressed to the Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Arunachal Pradesh.
The achievement reflects the dedication and collective efforts of the healthcare team at AAM-SHC Siluk, along with the continuous support of the State Quality Assurance Unit, NHM Arunachal Pradesh, and the Department of Health and Family Welfare in ensuring quality, safe, and patient-focused healthcare services.
While granting the certification, the NHSRC advised the health facility to continue implementing the recommended areas for improvement and sustain the quality standards through regular surveillance audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
The recognition dots a major milestone in Arunachal Pradesh’s ongoing efforts to step up primary healthcare services, besides enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery under the National Quality Assurance Standards programme.
