Khandu meets Shivraj, seeks support for flood-hit farmers and rural roads

Itanagar, Jul 28: Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan to discuss key developmental priorities of the state, official sources said on Tuesday.

During the meeting held on Monday, Khandu sought the Union Minister's support for strengthening rural road connectivity and extending necessary assistance to farmers affected by the recent floods and heavy rains across Arunachal Pradesh.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the Union Minister's positive response and continued support towards the development of rural communities and the welfare of farmers in the state.

The meeting focused on improving rural infrastructure and ensuring timely assistance for flood-affected farmers as part of the Centre's continued support for Arunachal Pradesh's development initiatives.
