ITANAGAR, Jul 28: The State Council for IT & e-Governance (Department of Information Technology & Communication), Govt of Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the Department of Elementary Education, on Tuesday conducted a one-day training programme on the Arunachal Pradesh State Board Examination (APSBE) Application at the Civil Secretariat, Itanagar.
Developed by the Department of IT&C, the APSBE Application is designed to digitise all examination-related activities for the Arunachal Pradesh State Board Examinations conducted for Classes V and VIII.
The integrated digital platform aims to streamline examination processes while improving transparency, efficiency, accuracy, and timely management of examination data.
The application was piloted during the 2025–26 academic session in five districts—Tawang, Papum Pare, East Siang, Lohit, and Namsai. Following the successful pilot, the government will now roll out the platform across all districts in the second phase, enabling statewide implementation.
The training covered the complete workflow of the application, including school registration, student data management, examination processes, result management, report generation, and user roles and responsibilities. Participants also took part in hands-on practical sessions and interactive discussions to familiarise themselves with the portal's features and operational procedures.
Reiterating its commitment to leveraging digital technology to strengthen governance and service delivery in the education sector, the department stated that the statewide implementation of the APSBE Application is expected to significantly improve the efficiency, reliability, and transparency of the State Board Examination system while ensuring uniformity in examination management across Arunachal Pradesh.
The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which participants shared feedback and sought clarifications on the implementation process. Officials expressed confidence that the training would facilitate the smooth adoption and effective utilisation of the APSBE Application across the state.
