Itanagar, Aug 1: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of Don Bosco College, Itanagar, represented Arunachal Pradesh at the North East NSS Festival held at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, Nagaland, from July 27 to 31.
Organised under the theme "Viksit Bharat," the festival brought together NSS volunteers from across the Northeast for a series of technical sessions focusing on youth empowerment and nation building, employment and economic stability, and mental health.
The Arunachal Pradesh contingent delivered an impressive performance, securing two second prizes in the extempore speech and folk dance competitions. A total of 32 NSS volunteers from Don Bosco College participated in the festival under the guidance of Programme Officer Samsom Mossang.
