Papum Pare’s Nabam Tukung named 2nd Runner-Up at Mr Teen India 2026

Itanagar, Aug 3: Sixteen-year-old Nabam Tukung from Bobia village in Sagalee, Papum Pare district, has made Arunachal Pradesh proud by securing the 2nd Runner-Up title at the Mr Teen India 2026 competition held in New Delhi on July 26.

The national pageant, organised by Spark Event Management under the Bharat Iconic Awards, brought together talented contestants from across the country to showcase their confidence, leadership, talent, communication skills, and personality.

Representing Arunachal Pradesh, Tukung impressed the judges with his confident stage presence, eloquence, and overall personality, earning a place among the top finalists before finishing as the 2nd Runner-Up.

Son of Nabam Sera and Techi Baby Nabam, Tukung has brought pride not only to his family but also to the people of Sagalee and Papum Pare district. His achievement has drawn widespread appreciation from well-wishers across the state for placing Arunachal Pradesh on the national stage.

Expressing his happiness after the event, Tukung described the recognition as an important milestone in his journey and said he hopes to inspire other young people to dream big.

"This achievement motivates me to work even harder and encourage the youth of my village and Arunachal Pradesh to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams, and never hesitate to step onto bigger platforms. I also hope to contribute towards helping and uplifting young people in my community," he said.
