Itanagar, Aug 4: The Arunachal Pradesh Police Headquarters has initiated the process for assessment and recommendation of eligible Itanagar Traffic Wardens (ITWs) for enrolment as Home Guard volunteers under the 50 per cent quota provided in the Arunachal Pradesh Home Guards Rules, 2023.
The recruitment process has been launched in accordance with a Home Department letter dated July 1, 2026, and the provisions of the Arunachal Pradesh Home Guards Rules, 2023.
Eligible ITWs have been asked to submit their applications along with the required documents at the Police Headquarters, Itanagar, between August 3 and 4 pm of August 18.
Applicants are required to submit photocopies of their Class X pass certificate, Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC), APST certificate, birth certificate, four recent passport-size colour photographs and other documents as specified in the application form.
The prescribed application format can be downloaded from the Arunachal Pradesh Police website www.arunpol.nic.in. PHQ stated that any further communications regarding the enrolment process will be published on the department's official website.
