LIKABALI, Aug 13: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, an exhibition on the national flag was organized today at Circuit House, Likabali by the Department of Art & Culture, Lower Siang, in collaboration with the Information & Public Relations (IPR) Department, Lower Siang.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mokar Riba, ADC Likabali, in presence of HoDs and other officials. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools in Likabali, along with NCC boys and girls from Govt Hr Sec School, Likabali.
Addressing the gathering, the ADC highlighted the significance of the Indian National Flag, the Tiranga, and emphasized the need to respect and uphold the values it represents. He urged teachers to educate students about the history, importance, and symbolism of the national flag so that the younger generation develops a deeper sense of patriotism and national pride.
Riba stated that such exhibitions are important not only for students but for all citizens, as they provide valuable insights into the evolution of the Tiranga and the sacrifices associated with India’s freedom struggle.
The exhibition showcased the historical evolution of the Indian National Flag, its significance, and its role as a symbol of unity, sovereignty, and national identity. Participants expressed keen interest in learning about the journey of the Tiranga and its importance in the nation-building process.
The programme concluded with a call to citizens to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and proudly hoist the national flag as a symbol of unity, patriotism, and commitment to the nation. (DIPRO)
