Dy CM launches six new facilities at Mahabodhi Lord Buddha College

NAMSAI, Aug 16: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein today inaugurated the new buildings of Mahabodhi Lord Buddha College, in presence of local MLA Zingnu Namchoom, marking an important step towards strengthening higher education infrastructure and creating better learning opportunities for the youth of Namsai.

On the occasion, six important facilities were inaugurated, including the College Building Extension, Exhibition Hall, Conference Hall, College Library, Seminar Hall and Maitri Girl’s Home. These facilities will provide students with improved spaces for academic learning, research, cultural activities and overall development.

In his speech, the Dy CM said that Mahabodhi Lord Buddha College carries a special significance as an institution that seeks to combine quality education with the timeless values of knowledge, compassion, discipline and peace inspired by the teachings of Lord Buddha.

He appreciated the management, faculty, students and all those associated with the institution for their dedicated efforts, and expressed confidence that the college will continue to grow as a centre of quality education.
