ITANAGAR, Aug 19: The Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, is coming up with the much anticipated 3rd edition of Battle of Minds starting September 1.
Shedding light on the upcoming third edition of Battle of Mind, public relations in-charge Meme Mangfi informed that the State-level quiz competition will begin in the month of September and has been divided into three zones - western, eastern and central.
Addressing a press conference at the APC here today, Mangfi said: “The competition is open to all young participants between 15 and 21 years of age and the registration process will remain open until 25th August. All eligible participants are encouraged to complete their registration within the stipulated deadline and participate in this statewide celebration of knowledge and young talent.”
The PR in-charge informed that the district level competitions will kick off from Tawang on 1st September, at Bomdila on 3rd September and Seppa and Ziro on 6th and 8th September and Palin, Daporijo between 1st to 12th September.
“The second round will commence on 1st September at Likabali and then to Basar, Aalo, Pasighat and Roing, for competitions to be held between 1st to 12th September.
The third round will be held at Longding, Khonsa, Jairampur, Tezu and then Namsai for which the competitions will be held between 2nd and 10th September.
The final round of Battle of Minds 3.0 will be held at DK Hall, Itanagar on 21st September. The grand finale will bring together top-performing participants from various rounds across the State for the concluding stage of the competition,” she said, sharing details of the programme.
The top three winners of Battle of Minds 3.0 will be awarded cash prizes - Rs 1 lakh, Rs 80 thousand and Rs 50 thousand for the winner, 1st and 2nd runner up respectively.
Expecting more participation in comparison to the 1st and 2nd editions, Mangfi informed that the first edition had 106 participants, while the second had 686 youth from across the State.
She further urged young students to come forward to show their talent and creative thinking.
