H-Spring Foundation celebrates 3rd foundation day with several activities

PASIGHAT, Aug 20: H-Spring Foundation celebrated its 3rd foundation day at the H-Spring Foundation Campus here on Wednesday with enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to promoting inclusion, dignity and equal opportunities for children with special needs and their families.

The programme was graced by Bandana Deori, retired IRS officer, as chief guest and M Taku, Deputy Director-cum-District Child Protection Officer, as guest of honour.

Chairperson Dr Oimang Megu, through a PPT presentation, highlighted the Foundation’s three-year journey, vision, major initiatives and achievements, and its efforts towards supporting children with special needs and their families.

The celebration also witnessed a colourful cultural programme by the children and lady staff of H-Spring Integrated School. The children showcased their talents through dance, singing and poem recitation, and presented handmade cards and crafts to the dignitaries.

Several dignitaries spoke on the occasion and appreciated the Foundation’s initiatives towards building an inclusive and supportive environment for children with special needs. Special appreciation was also expressed to the philanthropists and donors whose generous support has helped the Foundation sustain and expand its programmes.

As the Foundation enters its fourth year, it reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its programmes, expanding its outreach and creating a society where every child is valued, supported and provided opportunities to learn, develop and participate meaningfully.
