ZIRO, Sep 8: District Youth Officer Shaffali Yadav, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme, is rallying the youth of Lower Subansiri to step onto the national stage through the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027.
Spearheaded by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports via MY Bharat, this initiative reimagines the 30th National Youth Festival into a dynamic platform aligned with Viksit Bharat @2047. Named to honour the enduring vision of Swami Vivekananda, the festival invites young minds aged 15 to 29 to channel their creativity, leadership, and bold ideas into building a developed India.
The journey begins online with the Viksit Bharat Challenge - Online Quiz, running from 17 August through 16 September 2026. Eligible youth can register easily at mybharat.gov.in. Passing the quiz unlocks a multi-stage path—moving through an Essay Challenge, District Championship, State VBYLD, and National Dialogue—before culminating in the grand flagship event in New Delhi from 10 to 12 January 2027.
Participants can choose from four distinct avenues to showcase their talents: the Viksit Bharat Challenge Track; a Cultural Track spanning Nukkad Natak, Folk Dance, Folk Song, Painting, Poetry Writing, and Declamation; the Innovate for BHARAT track, which covers Design for BHARAT, Hack for Social Cause, and Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge; and the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament.
With strong backing from DC Perme and DYO Yadav, the district administration is encouraging local schools, colleges, universities, youth clubs, NSS/NCC units, MY Bharat Youth Volunteers, and NGOs to spread the word.
