ZIRO, Sep 10: District Administration officials and local hospitality operators converged at the Golden Jubilee conference hall here today to finalize logistical preparations ahead of the upcoming Ziro Festival of Music (ZFM).
Scheduled from September 24 to 27, the calendar event is expected to bring a substantial footfall of domestic and international visitors to Lower Subansiri district.
Opening the coordination meeting, Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme spoke to proprietors and managers of local hotels, resorts, and lodges.
The session also marked the maiden official administrative meeting for the newly appointed Superintendent of Police Techi Hanyir, who was formally welcomed to Ziro by the district administration and local stakeholders.
During her address, the DC issued clear directives requiring all hospitality establishments across the district to deliver services of the highest standard to incoming festival-goers. To present a cohesive, professional image for the valley's tourism sector, the administration specifically directed all hoteliers to enforce proper staff dress codes throughout the event week.
“We are committed to providing an exceptional experience for every guest visiting Ziro,” stated the DC, adding “Maintaining a uniform dress code and upholding top-tier service standards ensures our local hospitality industry presents its best face to the world.”
Echoing the DC’s directives, SDO Hage Tarung urged all hoteliers to strictly comply with all regulations and administrative guidelines issued for the smooth execution of the festival. (DIPRO)
