ANINI, Sep 20: Minister for Urban Affairs, Land Management and Civil Aviation Balo Raja reviewed ongoing urban development and land management works in Dibang Valley district during a meeting at the DC’s Conference Hall here on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by MLA-cum-Advisor to the Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation and Geology & Mining Mopi Mihu and Deputy Commissioner Yashwant Meena.
Officials from the Urban Development and Land Management departments presented the status of ongoing works, developmental initiatives and issues concerning the two sectors in the district.
Raja reviewed the progress of various initiatives and held discussions with officials on planned urban development, land management and improvement of civic infrastructure. He stressed the need for better coordination among departments and timely execution of developmental works.
Mihu highlighted key developmental requirements of Dibang Valley and stressed sustained efforts to strengthen infrastructure and public amenities in the district.
Urban Development Executive Engineer Alom Apang, I/c District Land Revenue and Settlement Officer Anmol Singh and other officials of the concerned departments attended the meeting.
