HAYULIANG, Sep 22: A new riverside café was inaugurated on the banks of the Delai River at Hayuliang on Tuesday, providing a new public space for residents and visitors.
Developed under Operation Sadbhavna, the Hayuliang Café has been designed as a recreational and rest facility for local residents as well as travellers passing through the area.
The inauguration was attended by military and civil officials, local community representatives, schoolchildren and residents.
As part of the inaugural programme, military and civil officials planted saplings around the café to promote greenery and help preserve the natural surroundings of the riverside.
The café is expected to serve as a community space and a convenient stop for travellers while adding to Hayuliang's scenic appeal.
