SEPPA, Sep 22: The East Kameng Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of regular coordination, timely reporting, effective monitoring and collective responsibility among all stakeholders to address challenges in the education sector.
The DC stressed this while chairing a meeting of the District Task Force (DTF) on School and Higher Education convened at the Abotani conference hall here today.
The need for sustained efforts towards improving educational outcomes and creating a conducive learning environment for students across East Kameng District was also highlighted.
Convened to deliberate on various issues pertaining to School Education and Higher Education in the district and to review matters requiring coordinated efforts among the concerned educational institutions and stakeholders, the meeting focused on sharing relevant information, reviewing reports, identifying key issues and challenges, and discussing suggestions for strengthening the delivery and quality of education across the district. Particular emphasis was laid on coordination among the district education authorities, educational institutions and field-level functionaries for effective implementation of educational programmes and initiatives.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE), East Kameng; Principal Govt College, Seppa; Principals and headmasters of Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools of the district; Block Education Officers (BEOs) and Block Resource Coordinators (BRCs), and Senior Associate, Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation
The participants shared their respective reports, concerns and suggestions related to the functioning of educational institutions and the implementation of various education-related programmes in the district.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment from all concerned stakeholders to work in close coordination towards strengthening school and higher education and improving the overall quality of education in the district. (DIPRO)
