ITANAGAR, Oct 6: The Department of Education, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh, organised the Seva Chitra State-Level Painting and Eloquent Speech Competition under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 here on Tuesday.
The event provided students a platform to showcase their creativity, knowledge and public-speaking skills while engaging with issues related to infrastructure development, environmental conservation and public welfare.
Education Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona, Namsai MLA Zingnu Namchoom, Director of Elementary Education Tani Talum, BJYM State President Tame Siang Tarh, along with teachers, students and other dignitaries, attended the programme.
The painting competition featured the themes “Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh” and “Clean and Green Village in Arunachal Pradesh”, while the Eloquent Speech Competition focused on “Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh” and “Jal Jeevan Mission in Arunachal Pradesh”.
The programme aimed to encourage students to understand and express their views on infrastructure development, environmental responsibility, cleanliness and access to safe drinking water. It also highlighted the role of young people in creating awareness and contributing to a cleaner, greener and more developed Arunachal Pradesh.
