ITANAGAR, Oct 9: Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak, accompanied by Doimukh MLA Nabam Vivek, on Friday visited several educational institutions in the Papum Pare district to assess their functioning and understand the issues and challenges affecting their operations.
The institutions visited included the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Arunachal Pradesh, Jarbom Gamlin Government Law College, the Film and Television Institute and Bini Yanga Government Women’s College at Poma.
During his visit to Bini Yanga Government Women’s College, Tagak announced that he would arrange for the installation of CCTV cameras on the campus from his own resources to strengthen security and ensure the safety of students.
Interacting with media persons after the visits, the MP said the concerns and issues raised by the respective institutions would be taken up with the concerned authorities for necessary intervention and resolution.
He further assured the institutions that efforts would be made to address their grievances and improve educational facilities and infrastructure.
