DEOMALI, Oct 29: A special enrolment camp for eligible voters left out during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls was held at the Electoral Registration Officer’s (ERO) office in Deomali for the 54-Namsang (ST) Assembly constituency on Wednesday.
The camp was led by ERO-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner Tana Bapu, along with Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) Indira Thumoung Riba of Deomali and Toko Kacha of Soha block, and the respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
The camp facilitated the verification and inclusion of eligible voters who had been excluded during the SIR process.
The initiative aimed to ensure that no eligible voter was left out of the electoral roll and to provide an opportunity for those excluded during the revision to seek enrolment.
