AALO, Nov 6: The Along Forest Division has invited objections and suggestions from the public, particularly residents of fringe villages, on the draft notification proposing an Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESZ) around the Yordi Rabe Supse Wildlife Sanctuary.
In a public notice, Divisional Forest Officer Gopin Padu said the draft notification was published in the Gazette of India by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on July 15, 2026.
Interested persons may submit their objections or suggestions in writing to the office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Along Forest Division, within 60 days from the date of publication of the public notice.
The notice stated that, after the stipulated period, the department would initiate further action towards final notification of the ESZ if no objections were received.
