Connect with farmer beneficiaries: BJP ‘sets sight’ on reaching 2500 villages in State

ITANAGAR, Feb 12: Joining the nationwide campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha polls - ‘Gram Parikrama Yatra’, the BJP Kishan Morcha, Arunachal Pradesh organized the event at the party headquarters here today, which was attended by Tadar Niglar (State general secretary), Gumsen Lollen (State president Kishan Morcha), Sambu Siongju (State president Minority Morcha), and others.

Niglar, in his speech, highlighted the Gram Parikarma Yatra which is being organized all over the country by the BJP Kishan Morcha. While underlining various provisions under “Atma Nirbhar Arunachal” in the budget of State government in various fields like agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, veterinary etc, he said that the State BJP has set a target of reaching 2500 rural areas (villages) in Arunachal to generate awareness on various benefits of farmers in the State.

Throughout the Gram Parikrama Yatra, Kishan Morcha will take on board the aspirations and suggestions of farmers at the grassroots level. Niglar suggested highlighting various flagship programmes of state and central governments at the grassroots level during the event so that people can avail the benefits.

Lollen said that national BJP president flagged off the Gram Parikrama Yatra from Maa Shakambhari Temple in Muzaffarnagar which was telecast live in various locations across the country.

Highlighting the main objectives of the Yatra in the State, he said that the Morcha will connect with the farmers (various beneficiaries) in the State.
