P/Pare DC urges officers to exercise their powers responsibly and effectively

YUPIA, Apr 13: Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Lobsang Tsering, in the chair, had a coordination meeting with all Heads of Office (HoOs) and administrative officers of the district at the DC’s office conference hall here today.

Addressing the officers, the DC stressed the importance of punctuality, regular attendance in offices, and the need to ensure transparent and timely redressal of public grievances. He urged all departments to work with sincerity and maintain effective coordination while dealing with public issues.

The chairman also briefed the gathering on key deliberations from the recently concluded Deputy Commissioners’ Conference held at Tawang. While emphasizing the need for department-wise action plans, he informed that individual review meetings with concerned departments would be conducted to ensure effective implementation of the discussed points.

During the meeting, the DC highlighted several priority areas discussed during the conclave including modernization of land records, planned urban development, human capital development in Arunachal Pradesh, holistic wellness initiatives, MSME development, strengthening of the transport sector, Gyan Bharatam Mission and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

He also shared key insights and takeaways from various sessions held during the conference.

Issues related to highway and road maintenance were discussed in detail.

While underscoring the importance of officers being well-versed with relevant laws, including provisions related to the Right of Way (ROW), the DC urged them to exercise their powers responsibly and effectively.

Reiterating the importance of teamwork, Tsering called for collective efforts and urged all officers to function in unison as ‘Team Papum Pare’ to ensure efficient governance and public service delivery. (DIPRO)
