Jini inaugurates Job Fair in WK

BOMDILA, Apr 13: The Annual Job Fair, organized by the Department of Youth Affairs (GoAP), was held at Buddha Park here today, with Kento Jini, Minister for Law, SJETA, Sports & Youth Affairs, inaugurating the event, in presence of Dilip Kumar, Deputy Commissioner West Kameng, along with other dignitaries.

While inaugurating the fair, the Minister highlighted the importance of such initiatives and urged unemployed youth to take full advantage of the opportunities provided.

He stated that a job fair serves as a vital platform for exploring employment opportunities, helping to reduce unemployment and promote self-sustainability. It also enables job seekers to interact directly with multiple employers at one place.

He further added that under the leadership of the State Chief Minister, various initiatives are being undertaken to generate employment opportunities and enhance the skills of youth, and this job fair is one such effort.

The Minister also informed that today’s job fair will be followed by two more fairs in Papum Pare and Lower Dibang Valley on the 15th and 17th of this month, respectively.

A total of 40 companies participated in the fair at Bomdila. (DIPR)
